Tamás Schóber, composer, conductor. His relationship with music is decisive since childhood. His first pieces of music can be dated back to his childhood. His life so far has been interwoven with the tingling sensation of composing, his works are now listened to by hundreds of millions.
He has been living with and for music since his childhood, the start of his composing activities date back to that age. The initial attempts were successful, in his youth he had several compositions performed by choirs and by his own band. His work is continuous, open, versatile. Today, his songs are listened to and bought in 150 countries around the world. The number of sold records exceeds 120 million annually.
Tamás Schóber has achieved significant concert success with his ensembles both at home and abroad. Apart from Hungary, he has given concerts in 31 countries of the world. The more than fifteen thousand registered concert performances and his participation in more than hundred sound recordings also corroborate the significance of his work.
His activities are really diversified. Besides composing, he also has a successful career as a conductor for 35 years now. He visited the most important concert halls in the world. The Manhattan Concert Productions in New York performed him as a conductor for Broadway productions, in 2018 his concerts were organized worldwide from New York. In 2021, he received an offer for a 90-minute concert to the PTE Pannon Children's Choir to be held at Carnegie Hall, but this project could not be realized because of the pandemic. He is the creator and leader of the SCHTUDIOTON Music Workshop.
